Date Being Summarized:  11 April 1995

A cool, stable airmass swept through the VORTEX ops area, shutting down the con-
vection, as the strong cyclone began lifting out and occluding.  By 00Z on the 
12th, the system was nearly vertically stacked over the eastern KS-NE border.
Moisture and instability were pushed well into the southeast.

Considerable severe thunderstorm activity occurred in MS and AL, with one tor-
nado reported in AL.
