Summary of Daily Weather
Date Being Summarized: 13 April 1995

The post-frontal anticyclone continued to plunge southward into the Gulf, there-
by pushing the moisture well away from the ops area. As the post-frontal ridge
aloft moved eastward, high lapse rates re-developed over the Rockies, even as
far north as MT. A strong system was pushing onshore over the west coast, with
cool air already intruding into the Pacific northwest. This system was devel-
oping a lee trough and a low-level jet stream ahead of the trough.

There were no reports of severe thunderstorms anywhere in the continental U.S.
