Summary of Daily Weather
Date Being Summarized:  25 April 1995

Pressure falls induced strengthening southerly flow as a sfc high-pressure 
ridge moved eastward into Mississippi.  By late afternoon return flow had
lifted dew points into the 50s in South Texas and the 40s across most of
Oklahoma.  Southerly winds exceeded 20 kt in western Oklahoma during the day. 
A surface low began to strengthen in Colorado by late afternoon as a
deepening mid-level trough approached the vortex area from the Utah/Idaho
border area.

Overnight on the 25th and early on the 26 isentropic lift combined with lift
in the left exit region of a jet streak over Colorado to produce 
high-based thunderstorms in Nebraska and northern Kansas.  Some hail was 
observed in Nebraska.
