Summary of Daily Weather
Date Being Summarized: 11 MAY 1995

LOW LEVEL MOISTURE RETURN BEGAN THROUGH WEST TEXAS HOWEVER THE PROSPECTS
FOR A SUCCESSFUL VORTEX INTERCEPT WERE TOO LOW TO WARRANT THE 6 HOUR
TRIP...ESPECIALLY IN VIEW OF A POTENTIAL GO DAY IN KANSAS THE NEXT DAY.
THUS NO OPERATIONS WERE CONDUCTED. NO SIGNIFICANT CONVECTION DEVELOPED IN
THE VORTEX AREA.

SEVERE WEATHER WAS SCATTERED ALONG THE GULF COAST AND IN NORTH CAROLINA...
GENERALLY IN THE FORM OF WIND DAMAGE AND HAIL. THIS ACTIVITY WAS LESS
WIDESPREAD THAN THE PREVIOUS TWO DAYS SINCE LOW LEVEL FLOW IN THE WARM
AIR MASS SOUTH AND EAST OF THE FRONT HAD VEERED IN GENERAL.
