TWO ISOLD TSTMS FORMED RAPIDLY ALG A NE/SW ORIENTED DRYLN/LEE TROF
OVR NRN STANTON CNTY KS ARND 1700CDT.  THESE TWO STMS SOON MERGED INTO ONE
TSTM...WHICH LTR SPLIT INTO A LEFT AND RIGHT-MOVG PAIR.  THE RIGHT-MOVER 
QUICKLY BECAME SVR...PRODUCING A NUMBER OF TORNADOES BTWN ARND 1830 AND
2130 CDT AS IT MOVED ENEWD TO NR LARNED KS.  THIS STM AND SEVERAL TORNADOES
WERE WELL SAMPLED BY VORTEX TEAMS.  ANOTHER STM FORMED ARND 1830CDT OVR THE 
XTRM NERN TX PANHANDLE...INVOF AN EXISTING NE/SW CONFLUENCE LN E OF 
THE DRYLN. THIS STM PRODUCED LRG HAIL AND A ROTATING WALL CLOUD...BUT NO 
TORNADOES WERE OBSERVED.

DURG THE PD THAT THE STMS WERE SVR...A SFC WV DRIFTED SWWD ACRS WRN KS ALG/AHD
OF A FNT DRIFTING S THRU THE NRN PART OF THE STATE.  THE STM SAMPLED BY VORTEX
CONTINUED TO PRODUCE SVR WX AS IT MERGED WITH A LRGR COMPLEX OF CNVTN OVR CNTRL
AND ERN KS LTR IN THE NGT.

W CNTRL TX INTO CNTRL PTNS OF THE TX PNHDL.  THESE STMS PRODUCED SVR HAIL...
